Monday
- Syllabus, class procedures. Tour of facilities that will be
used. Students will take their height, weight pre-assessment measures.
Tuesday - Students will take the
written part of their common assessment. Students will develop their daily
warm-ups then students will complete their pre-assessment data, sit-n-reach,
push-ups, and sit-ups.
Wednesday - Students will
complete their Exercise Contracts. After contracts students will run their
1 mile as their pre-assessment.
Thursday - Students will
complete vocabulary for chapter 1 and will start notes for chapter 1 and
2. Students will continue their pre-assessment data. Students will participate
in a workout.
Friday - Students will finish
chapter one notes then complete the pre-assessment for the pacer running
test.
Note: Start looking at items
needed for the portfolio. You are responsible for completing a portfolio at the
end of the semester that includes all of your assessments measures and
worksheets that you will complete throughout this class. I will tell you all
every item that you need to keep and include in your portfolio.
